Stephen Mukasa is a Seasoned Leadership Catalyst, Strategy
Expert, Certified Executive Coach and Self-Improvement Advisor.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting option)
from Makerere University and a Master of Business
Administration from Strathmore University (Kenya), as well as a
Pan African EMBA Module Certificate from IESE Business School
(Spain). He is the Country Head of the CEO Summit Uganda a Private Sector Think Tank which brings together all Tier 1 Corporate Leaders in Uganda
He is a Board Member of the League of East African Directors (LEAD) of which he is one of the Founding Directors, as well as a Non-Executive Director at FutureLink Technologies, Nyaka Global and Buildware Centre (U) Limited. Lastly, he is one of the Investment and Business Ambassadors of the Uganda Red Cross Society.
Stephen has led a Team of Experts in reviewing and developing agile Strategic Plans for Blue Chip Organisations in Uganda such as Centenary Bank, Insurance Regulatory Authority, Abacus Pharma, World Vision Uganda, Uganda Red Cross Society to mention but a few. He is the President of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Uganda Charter
Chapter and he holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.
He started his formal coaching journey (in April 2017) by undertaking the Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) with The Performance Solution (TPS), United Kingdom. Stephen has over 1645 hours of
coaching experience at the Executive/ Top-level and he is also a certified trainer/ user of 4 Psychometric Tools: Clarity4D®, iWAM, Extended DISC® and the Personal Development Analysis (PDA). He has been involved in coaching Senior Executives at the Uganda Airlines, Abacus Pharma, Centenary Bank, Total Energies, Uganda National Oil Company, Petroleum
Authority of Uganda, Bank of Uganda, absa Bank, Stanbic Bank, MTN MoMo, dfcu Bank, Housing Finance Bank, VillageReach, Abacus Pharma, Movit Products, Uganda Airlines, aBi Finance to mention but a few. He has also undertaken coaching assignments funded by the USAID through Baylor Uganda and the Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI).
Stephen also trains and consults in the areas of Board Governance, Strategy, Sustainability and ESG, Personal and Team Leadership, Organisation Behaviour and Organisational Change Management.
Stephen was the founding Country Director of Strathmore Business School in Uganda for 10 years till July 2021. In his time at SBS, he oversaw the training and development of over 5000 Corporate Leaders in Uganda.
In his free time, Stephen mentors Professionals, volunteers in Community and Church-based Initiatives and engages in a number of hobbies such as jogging, walking, cycling, playing soccer, reading, white-water rafting and mountain climbing.
