“Integrity always Pays”
For Harrison Muiru, technology is not simply about systems- it is about stewardship.
Academically grounded in engineering and business leadership, Harrison holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and an Executive MBA from Strathmore Business School. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration specialising in AI and Machine Learning. As a member of the Forbes Business Council and a contributor to executive forums focused on AI ethics, digital identity, and universal health coverage, he continues to shape conversations on equitable AI and responsible digital systems across Africa.
His leadership influence is deeply shaped by the late Dr. Chris Kirubi and guided by a belief in servant leadership that delivers positive impact to humanity. For Harrison, innovation must serve people. Digital systems must enhance dignity. And governance must anchor technological advancement.
As a member of the League of East African Directors, Harrison values the opportunity to contribute to other leaders, expand networks, and further the cause of good governance. He describes LEAD as a place for growth in leadership and governance, and a platform that ensures leaders do not navigate complexity alone.
Ultimately, Harrison’s work reflects a broader conviction: Africa’s digital future will be shaped not just by innovation, but by integrity. Technology may automate businesses, but it is principled leadership that ensures those systems endure and deliver intended value.
" Because when innovation is guided by governance, transformation becomes sustainable. "
