The League of East African Directors (LEAD) has been retained by a Global Insurance Company to identify and recommend exceptional individuals for appointment to its General Insurance Board of Directors in Uganda.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

1. Be a LEAD Member in good standing at the time of application.
2. Must hold a DCRO Board Readiness certificate, contact [email protected] on how to get certified.
3. Have a proven track record of leadership and governance at Board or senior executive level.
4. Demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following areas:
          ​​     Insurance and financial services.
   ​ ​​  ​Risk management and compliance.
   ​ ​​  ​Audit and finance oversight.
   ​ ​​  ​Strategic leadership and corporate governance.
   ​ ​​  ​Digital transformation and innovation in financial ​services.
5. Possess high integrity, independence of thought, and strong strategic judgment.
6. Be free of any conflicts of interest and meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
